Responsibilities (according to the project DOR):


 Managing, Develop, control and running of the day to day the Contract Management Program
of the project consistent with Bechtel/PGESCo's Contract Management Procedures, the
Standard Work Process Procedures and the Contract Management Manual.

 Analyze the Contract general terms and conditions to highlight areas of risk such as
ambiguities, conflicts or deviations from the scope of work. As work proceeds, make
recommendations to the CPM on the mitigation of these risks, closely monitor and support
remedial actions.

 Recognize and identify Contract Claims as they develop and manage/negotiate their
resolution under the Contracts Change provisions wherever possible.

 Creating and maintaining logs/Records and reports as required


 Issue and negotiate change orders/change notices with the cost/schedule impacts and
prepare/issue the Contracts amendments.
 Conduct Meetings and draft meeting minutes, transmittal letters, and all forms of
correspondences.
 Coordinating with the Finance Department to ensure that payments procedures are being
correctly & Review and approve Contractors invoices compliance with payment
terms/conditions in the Contract.

 Review and approve Contractors deferent Insurance certificates.

Cost control works (measuring actual against projected cost, insuring and analyzing any
deviation, issuing the necessary recommendation to redress deviation

 Preparation of the Project Management Team cost report. This report include all man-hour
costs for management team personnel and all associated procurement, sub-contract and
infrastructure costs and actual construction costs , Full assessment of commitment, value
of work done, invoiced expended and forecast costs to completion. Cash flow estimates and
interim valuations as required.
 Following up and updating procurement plan.
 Provide close out work and final account.
 Estimate and schedule analysis of all Project Change Notices and incorporation into overall
plan.
