Dear Sir or Madame,

I am pleased to have the opportunity to write this letter on behalf of Emmeline Dunaway, a young
woman I have come to know well over the past year and a half. Emme enrolled as a junior in the Pre-
Med Core, one of several vocation-oriented focus areas available for upperclassmen here at Windsor
High School. The purpose of the Pre-Med Core is to provide students who are interested in pursuing
careers in health care or public safety with the knowledge and skills they will need in order to be
competent and competitive in both educational and work settings after high school. Emme has been a
joy to teach and has proven to be a fantastic addition to our core.

Emme immediately made a strong impression when she came to our core. She is an exceptionally
intelligent, insightful and thoughtful young lady, and has distinguished herself as an example her peers
can look up to. Emme's work is always done in a thorough and thoughtful manner, showing a genuine
interest in learning and a commitment to doing her absolute best in every endeavor. Her dedication
and determination make her a supremely reliable and trustworthy individual. She also exudes integrity
and good will towards others, traits which will serve her well in any environment. Emme has
expressed an interest in pursuing a degree in political science, with possible career choices including
working for the UN or the FBI. I see this path as an excellent choice for her and one in which she will
certainly excel, given her intellect and strong moral character.

In addition to her academic capabilities, Emme has several other qualities which will serve her well in
both school and work: She is well spoken (in English and Spanish), extremely polite and friendly, and
her strong communication skills allow her to work effectively with others, having the ability to either
lead by example or follow directions without complaint. Emme is also compassionate and kind; she is
well-liked by her peers and is sensitive to the needs of others. I'm certain she will be a fantastic
success at any vocation she chooses, and she will be a credit to any institution fortunate enough to
have her. I recommend her to you enthusiastically and without reservation.
