Comments
It does not hurt to be a good communicator in any profession. As a principal, it is critical.
Interaction with each of the focus groups: students, staff, parents and administrators requires a
different style of interaction. Only a good communicator can adeptly handle this task of being the
"intermediary".

While it is nice to be an visionary, what is paramount is the person is practical. Given current
budget constraints, ensuring the basic functions of a school are met is proving to be challenging. So
having an envisioner as the head of the school could worsen matters if he is only looking at the
future and ignoring the present.
