ABSTRACT

The proponents used the concept of mobile application to develop an educational


interactive learning tool, primarily for Freshmen Students. Their project was
entitled ScoolMU PEDIA: An Android Application, based on Encyclopedia. It is
an android-based app. The application is runnable with android devices only. The
proponents developed this project to provide familiarity on the institution and the
laws for the freshmen and transferee students,to entertain, to publish it through
web, to help end users gain more knowledge about the institution, to develop an
interesting interactive learning tool and to create a mobile application which will
provide well-defined and well-explained information for the freshmen and
transferee students, and to provide an additional feature that allows users to
control remotely the power of a modified electrical socket adaptor. In making this
project possible, several hardware and software were used. The proponents also
used several data gathering techniques in seeking information related to their
project.
