CONTRACT AGREEMENT

In conclusion of the screening exercise conducted by the recruitment team of ConocoPhillips


United Kingdom, we are pleased to offer you appointment on the following terms and conditions:

POSITION: Piping Superintendent

JOB LOCATION: Aberdeen, Scotland UK. (The Company may require you to work at or relocate to
such other offices, project sites or location within the United Kingdom whether on a temporary or
permanent basis as it may from time to time reasonably direct to meet the needs of the company).

ASSIGNMENT:

You will exercise a high degree of skill and care in the provision of the service assigned and you will
devote as much of your time to the services as may be necessary to enable them to be carried out
efficiently. The Employee agrees that it will at all time faithfully, industriously, and to the best of
skill ability, experience and talents, perform the duties required of the given position. Comply with
all Employer policies, procedures, rules and regulations, both written and oral, as are announced
by the Employer from time to time.

You may be required to perform work in place of another employee on a casual or temporary
basis, as a relief for the duration of the job or during the absence of another employee and
maintain a high standard of safety at all time.

CONTRACT DURATION: 2(Two) Years. (Subject to extension which shall be mutually agreed upon
between the employer and the employee)

STARTING DATE: 10 October 2017

WORKING HOURS: Normal business daily working hours or as may be scheduled by the Company.

WORK SCHEDULE: (28/28). Work arrangement is rotational; you will be On-board for 28days and
off (leave) the next 28days. Employees shall also receive their full benefits during their 28day off
which includes Monthly Salaries, Bonuses, and other Allowances.

• Salary: Your starting basic monthly salary will be £8, 000.00 (GBP) exclusive of any taxation (all
taxes will be paid by the company). Payment of Salaries shall be 90% paid directly into your
account in your country or any location of your choice, with the remaining 10% paid locally in
UK. This is in line with the British Expatriate Financial Statutory Laws.

• Benefits:

1. Orientation Program: Candidates are advised to arrive a week before job commencement
date in order to attend the orientation seminar. Note that there will be no further interview
as your appointment is basically on the information, which you have provided on your
resume before screening. There will be a routine check of your credentials on arrival by the
Human Resource Department to confirm validity. Facilitate a cordial relationship between
Employee and Employer as well as the organizational structure with respect to this project.

(a) The Employer shall have an opportunity to assess in-depth the performance, attitude,
skills and other employment-related attributes and characteristics of the Employee.
(b) The Employee shall have an opportunity to learn about the Employer, its processes,
procedures and the position of employment.

2. Accommodation: Free standard accommodation with necessary amenities to be provided


by the company. Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services will as well be made available to all
employees by the company's laundry and dry cleaning unit. Recreational/Sports Facilities
shall also be made available at the disposal of all expatriates with no expenses to be
incurred.

3. Visa/Work Permit: Company shall secure your Visa/ Work Permit from the Home office of
the British Immigration Service. Only expatriate who are satisfactorily committed with their
genuine interest and ability to travel will have their information sent to the British Embassy.

4. Flight Ticket: Company shall provide all your flight tickets. All expatriates are entitled to
free to and fro tickets to cover the span of their home leave. Upon completion of the
employment formality and approval of your Visa/Work Permit, Company shall release your
upfront payment and your flight ticket to enable you travel to UK.

5. Reimbursement/Payments: Company guarantees to reimburse all expenses made or


incurred by the employee in relation to this Job/Contract Engagement Process or expenses
made during Travel Plans, Insurance and Security Clearance Certification etc shall be fully
reimbursed by the Company. Refund shall be made not more than five (5) working days
from submission of report/receipt of approved work permit and visa through the British
Immigration Service.

6. Safety and Security: Safety and Security of personnel have been seriously considered to
ensure and assure hitch free operations. All operations on Job Location are designed to

adhere strictly to the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy as applicable in the
Company Sector. Security personnel are also stationed to ensure optimum guard at all
times.

7. Medical/HealthCare: Employer shall provide the employee and family with comprehensive
Health care for the time of contract, and follow-on care for injuries suffered during the time
of contract.

8. Transportation: An official vehicle/helicopter shall be provided on 24 hour daily basis for


local transportation. A round trip flight ticket to cover the span of your contract
engagement will be provided to you by the company.

9. Allowance/Entitlements: Hazard/Inconveniences: £2,000.00(Monthly), Entertainment &


Recreation: £1,500.00(Monthly), Travel & Events: £2,500.00(Monthly), Educational
Assistance: Benefit with family status £3,000.00(Paid Quarterly), House & Furnishings
Allowance £4,500.00(Yearly), Wardrobe Allowance £1,000.00(Monthly), Car Maintenance
Allowance £1,500.00(Monthly), Performance Bonuses: Up to 30% of your annual net salary
will be paid to you yearly.

10. End of Service Entitlement: Employee will be entitled to receive End of Service Gratuity in
accordance with the provision under the British Labor Law.

11. Termination Notice: Either party (Company or Employee) may at any time terminate this
contract by giving not less than one month's written notice of termination to the other,
unless termination is on grounds of serious misconduct where such termination will be
with immediate effect as protected by the British Employment Act, 1994.

CONFIDENTIALITY

The Employee acknowledges that, in the course of performing and fulfilling these duties, that it
may have access to and be entrusted with confidential information concerning the present and
contemplated financial status and activities of the Employer, the disclosure of any of which
confidential information to competitors of the Employer would be highly detrimental to the
interests of the Employer. The Employee further acknowledges and agrees that the right to
maintain the confidentiality of such information constitutes a proprietary right which the Employer
is entitled to protect.

Accordingly, the Employee covenants and agrees with the Employer that it will not, during the
continuance of this agreement, disclose any of such confidential information to any person, firm or
corporation, nor use same, except as required in the normal course of these engagement, and
thereafter will not disclose or make use of the same.

In line with the requirement of the British employment regulatory law which is coming as a result

of high level of misconduct of some foreign expatriates, the management with order from the
British Government has made it mandatory that any prospective employee who wish to work with
an oil and gas company on a contract sponsorship bases must first procure an Affidavit Oath of
Good Conduct and Letter of Attestation from the British High Court of Justice stating that
he/she will be of good behavior and uphold the integrity of the company. Recently, some
expatriates came in to work in UK and during their various contracts most of them indulged in
terrorism, drug trafficking and other illegal activities, some went to our various banks and collected
loans without paying back till date, and the country has suffered considerably due to this negative
behaviors. Procurement of these documents will further affirm that you have accepted to be of
good behavior, complying with laws, rules and regulations throughout your stay here in United
Kingdom. They are also the required documents needed for the immediate approval of your
Residence and Work Permit/Visa. These documents are obtainable only at the British Federal High
Court of Justice through an accredited attorney representing the applicant (Employee). See below
one of the accredited attorney whom you need to contact via email to secure the affidavit of
guarantee for good conduct and letter of attestation from the British Federal High:

You are required to send to the lawyer via e-mail scanned copies of the following documents which
will aid him procure your visa and residence/work permit:

1. Scanned Copy of International Passport (Data Page)


2. Scanned Copy of Passport Photograph (Colored)
3. A Copy of this signed Contract Agreement.

Upon receipt of the above mentioned documents from your side the immigration consultant will
secure your visa and residence/work permit here in UK and will contact the British Consulate in
your country and fax all your documents to them for final stamp.

Within a space of 7 working days after your papers have been faxed to the consulate, we shall
notify you on when to go the consulate office in your country for the endorsement of your
international passport, brief interview and issuing stamped Visa.

NOTE: You are to bear the cost of processing your Affidavit Oath of Good Conduct and Letter of
Attestation from the Accredited Attorney and ConocoPhillips will duly reimburse you of all the
expenses you incurred only on sight of your valid legalization documents to show seriousness in
joining the team.
