GRAPHICS Design Center

The GRAPHICS Design Center is a sophisticated display of

clarity and creativity. By using natural colors and textures,
workers and clients feel grounded, focused, and enjoy an over-
whelming sense of belonging. The concept of the design reflects the
idea of accessibility, meaning each worker, even the company
President, is visible and available to the rest of the office. The effect of
this clarity is two-fold. Teamwork and communication is
encouraged, and staff displays a high level of responsibility for how
their time is spent.

Sketchbook- Custom Reception Desk

Justification
The custom reception desk exemplifies
the design principles of contrast, unity,
and balance. Contrast is shows in the
colors- glossy black surfaces with bright
shiny chrome letters. The smooth high
gloss textures throughout the piece will
support the unity of the elements. The
custom reception desk shows asymmet-
ric balance through its shapes and forms.
The piece will be harmonic and convey
the style of Graphics Inc.
