Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES), celebrating Dr. A.V. Deshpande

25 years of academic excellence, was established in the year
1993 under the dynamic leadership of Prof. M. N. Navale
with the aim of imparting quality education in the field of
Engineering, Management, Computer, Pharmacy, Medical
Education, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Architecture,
Commerce, Hotel Management & basic school education.
At present, STES has 12 campuses, 85 institutes and 26
schools with over 90,000 students. All the institutes under
STES are recognized by concerned statutory authorities
and they fulfill the norms and standards laid down by these
statutory authorities.
ABOUT THE COLLEGE
STES’s Sinhgad College of Science, fondly called SCOS,
which excels in knowledge, enhancement and polishing
skills, began in 2001. The college is driven by a very vibrant
faculty that enjoys a rich professional experience with a
sense of exemplary competence. A lot of emphasis has
been laid in the infrastructure including laboratories and
libraries. The college campus has an auditorium that holds
guest lectures and seminars. Indeed learning can’t acquire a
more complete shape than is visible at Sinhgad College of
Science. The aim of the institute is to inculcate students
with academic proficiency, professional ethics and desirable
value system.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The objective of the conference is to integrate basic
sciences on a national platform, encourage interdisciplinary
research through interaction between students, scientists
and industrial experts. The conference will introduce the
students to new and emerging trends, latest research and
opportunities in science and technology. This conference
will provide opportunity for the delegates to exchange new
ideas, applications and experiences, and to establish
research relations and develop collaborations. It will also
inculcate scientific temperament in the graduate and
postgraduate students and enlighten them about the recent
developments in the field of science.
