Re; Proposal to audit and compile financial statements for the 2017 financial year

I am writing to be considered for the audit of your 2017 financial records.

Professional Qualifications
 I am an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and
Administrators in Zimbabwe (ICSAZ).
 I am registered with the Public Accountants and Auditors Board as a
member (PAAB)

Qualifying Experience

 I am a man who has had more than twenty years' experience in the
finance and administration department for Duly Holdings Ltd where I have held
several positions as I grew up the ladder until a was appointed Accountant in
2002 to the year 2016 when I was retrenched. This vast experience have
afforded me the opportunity to be able critically discern financial issues in
industry and commerce as well as other sectors.

Proposed scope of the work envisaged

 Income - that the income which is mainly in the form of school fees is accounted
for by ensuring that ;
 All receipts are properly receipted and recorded.
 The requisite receipted funds is banked intact.
 All receipts are properly recorded in the cash book.
 Income is properly recorded in the Statement of Comprehensive Income
(formerly Income statement)
 Outstanding income is properly taken into account.
  Expenditure – that all expenses are all taken into account by ensuring that
 All expenses are properly recorded
 There are requisite vouchers to support all payments.
 The supporting documents for expenses are properly authorized.
 Laws regarding to the outlay of school funds are observed.

 Assets –
 Acquisition of school assets is above board.
 Policy on acquisition of assets is adhered to
 Assets are properly recorded in the financial statements.

 Liabilities – all liabilities are accounted for and properly recorded in the 2017
financial statements.

Proposed Reports
The following are the proposed reports to be generated at the end of the engagement
 Statement of Financial Position (formerly Balance Sheet)
 Statement of comprehensive Income ( formerly Income Statement)

NB the accuracy of the above are depended on the availability of accurate and
dependable information and records.

Fees
A fee of $ 950.00 is payable on completion of the audit.
