1 Specifik Training
Each workplace always contains various potential hazards that can threaten the occurrence of
accidents and affect the health of the workforce. Not all workers are able to recognize the dangers
and risks of the work they do. To know the types of hazards and the level of risk in the work
environment is the key to being able to control the hazards and risks so as not to happen things that
are not in want. Therefore the need to recognize the potential hazards in the workplace and how to
control it, which aims to prevent the occurrence of accidents in the field.
In this regard, the plan of in-house training program that will be conducted by Safety / HSE team:
1. Safety Induction
This training is conducted on new workers. In order to obtain information on the rules applicable
in the project area, and notify the potential hazards that exist in the project area.
1. PT. LEN Safety policy Statement
2. Basic Safety Knowledge
3. Basic Rules of Safety Permit System
4. HSE Guidelines
5. Hazard Indentification
6. Personnal Protective Equipment
7. HSE Motivation, Awarness and Violation

2. Training of Fire Fighting Technique
The implementation of this fire fighting technique aims to:
1. Provide understanding and knowledge with the causes of fire.
2. Introduce fire-fighting instruments for large and small types of fire and how they are used.
3. Able to form emergency fire fighting team.

3. First Aid Training (P3K)

The purpose of this training is to provide employee / worker knowledge and understanding in
relation to emergency management so that employees / workers can recognize emergency
incidents when they are in the field and are able to provide early assistance to victims of accidents
quickly, accurately and safely.
In the handling of first aid in the event of an accident refers to the three "P" namely:
1. Check the environment
2. Call for help
3. Provide help to the victim

A. Handling of Medical Cases In Injury

1. Small wounds: Torn, blistered, or mild bleeding
• Use handskun (to protect blood-borne pathogens)
• Clean the wound with clean water or saline normal liquid 0.9% (Nacl 0.9%)
• Wound wound with betadine for disinfectant
• Cover the wound with a dry sterile gauze.

Figure 3
Handling of Medical cases In Injury

2. Big cuts: Large, deep and bleeding wounds

• Stop the bleeding (Press on the wound directly with a clean cloth or gauze, if there is a sterile)
• If possible or wound is in the hand, raise an injured arm equals the heart or higher than the
heart.
• Take it to the project / hospital medical service.

B. Medical Treatment Broken Bones

• Prohibited removing the victim from the accident site
• If the victim has to be moved, splint the area around the wound and use a board.

Figure 5

C. Medical Treatment of Injury to the Eyes
1. Small Particles
• Avoid rubbing the eyes if exposed to particles
• Use the corner of one clean and soft cloth to remove particles, or clean the particles using
clean water with the position of the eyelid open.
2. Large Particles or Suspended
• Closes both eyes with a bandage
• Avoid attempts to remove exposed particles.
• Take it to medical / hospital services.
3. Chemical
Immediately irrigate the outer and inner eye of the eyelid with clean water, for 30 minutes.
D. Handling of Fainting Medical Cases
• Put the patient in a place with good air ventilation
• Ensure that the airway is breathing so that the victim can breathe easily
• Head should be tilted if the patient is vomiting
• Loosen clothing that narrows
• Do not give food / drinks
• Lift both legs 12 inches (unless there is a foot injury)
• Do not leave alone
• Take the patient to the hospital

E. Overheating of Medical Cases

• Loosen the victim's overflight
• Give the victim fresh air
• Place the victim lying down in a cooler place

3. Training on Harnest Body Usage
The purpose of this training, so that workers understand the correct installation of body harnest
and in accordance with its function. And increase knowledge and benefits in using body harnest
in altitude area.

3.2. PPE Requirements

PPE must be Worn by all workers or employees while on site. Nobody can enter the work site if
not wearing PPE. PPE serves to protect workers or employees who are in the work site from the risk
of harm caused by work.

3.3 Isolation & Posseions

- Permit (Work Permit)
Describes the work to be done Identify potential hazards or interacting activities that may
occur Determine the requirements, the precautions required to work in safe conditions.
To ensure: All work activities, the hazards involved and the precautions to be taken are
determined prior to the execution of the work, and All activities are coordinated to provide a safe
working environment for all personnel working in the operated LEN installation.
Permite are made especially like, hot job, work height, and limited space area.

- JSA (Job Safety Ananysis)

The JSA is a structural approach to identifying potentials in the work environment and
provides for improvement measures. JSA is usually employed in a workgroup in the workstation,
following the adverse dangers to which these measures are applied, provides a step-step
improvement, to the end of a survival job sequence.

- Tool Box Meeting (TBM)

Tool Box Meeting (TBM) or "toolbox meeting" is a brief workshop on work safety, which is
performed before the work begins with topics that vary according to the type of work to be
performed, with respect to the safeguarding of work equipment and labor safety. The meeting is
organized by the Work Supervisor and Safety Supervisor every morning or before work
commences, attended by construction workers.

- General Inspection
A general INSPECTIONAs part of the day-to-day activities and when assigning personnel to the
work site. All supervisors examine area facilities, equipment and materials used by employees
systematically. The surveillance department monitors the same area as within their normal scope
of work continuously.

- SITE PATROL
There are monthly checks at random at work. Inspection is done by Mainkontraktordan
followed by all subcontractors.

- JOIN WEEKLY SAFETY PATROL

The agenda is done once a week. Followed by HSE department and also subcontractor. Its
activities are related to unsafe conditions and unsafe actions in the project.

- SUBCONTRACTORS SITE PATROL

This agenda is done once a month. Followed by PM / SM, supervisor, HSE department and also
subcontractor. Its activities are related to unsafe conditions and unsafe actions in the project.
- SAFETY CAMPAIGN
Monthly program, this program puspose to increase employee’s knowledge about
accupational safety and health with exiting media.
- WORKING AT HEIGHT
All activities and moving will perform at elevated above 2 meter, worker must use
safety belt and safety harness or be provided scaffolding, working platform, handrail and
ladder for access.
Safety sign board and barricade area must be provided under the work area when the
working are perform at height. Dropping or throwing anything from an elevated height are
prohibited.
- GRINDING, WELDING AND CUTTING
All grinding, welding and cutting equipment will be inspected daily. Defective
apparatus and equipment will be replace or repaired. Combustible material and equipment
such as gas cylinders, rubber hoses and debris will be removed or shielded from heat, spark
and slag from grinding, welding and cutting. Flash back arestor (safety valve) will be provided
at each cylinder bottle of cutting equipment.
- ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENT WORK ON CONTRUCTION AREA
a. Temporary Electrical Supply Plan
Before the commencement of Fabrication work on the site, an overall electricity supply plan
for fabrication, Including electricity demand forecast, transformer banks, allocation of
distribution. Boards, distribution cable routing and rating, etc. will be prepared and
reviewed by qualified electrical engineers and fabrication planning personnel.
b. Electrical workers
Electrical work including installation, testing, inspection and maintenance will only be
executed by competent electrician/workers and supervised by qualified supervisors. The
designated supervisor will directly instruct foreman and workers, and before starting the
work, he will explain the scope of the work, work location, work procedure, time, schedule,
proper personal protective equipment (PPE), proper equipment and tools to be used,
allocation of workers, etc. Throughly to all workers concern.
