JOB REQUIREMENTS
BTL/ATL activities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
o Lead the process of planning product wise market share
and brand positioning
o Coordinate with sales to finalize sales targets
o Create mechanisms to monitor the implementation of
marketing plans/initiatives
o Ensure enhanced market share and brand visibility for key
product categories in line with business strategy
New Product Planning & Launches
o Monitor feedback from sales and customer research
o Work with R&D on product design and enhancements,
Conceptualize process of new product development and
launch plans
o Coordinate brand promotion and marketing events from a
commercial viability viewpoint and ensure a positive ROI
on the process
Market Development
o Source and analyze market data for opportunity and
growth
o Supervise implementation of new systems and processes
in the selling and marketing model, tracking of dealer
networks, secondary sales
o Develop emerging market segments and guide new
customers to strengthen the marketing function
Customer Relationship Management
o Conceptualize new initiatives and projects to enhance the
effectiveness of the consumer promotions
o Work with sales on engaging consumers and meet key
consumer groups
o To enhance the mindshare and visibility of Apollo Brand
New Ventures and Brand Initiatives
o Lead the process of identifying new ventures through
strategic alliances
o Work with external specialists on brand positioning and
media planning
o Define parameters for tracking effectiveness for
advertising and promotional activities for each product
category
People Development
o Participation in recruitment and selection process
o Employee review and guide performance, provide
development feedback
o Suggest training programs to facilitate development
process
o Lead a motivated and capable team
Establish the Brand across three zones – India (I), South Africa (A) and
Europe (E)
To lead the marketing strategy of all product categories, create
marketing plans, monitor performance in conjunction with sales,
market share, develop brand positioning and support Chief-Marketing
in growing new markets within the overall business strategy of the
company.
