Equipment Status (Including Equipment Under Repair):

TDX
Only one part from pipe handler gripper was changed out with spare. Removed Gripper to be rebuild as it was leaking at
a clamp cylinder. CM created

2nd Gripper
Installed.
IBOP
IBOP that was removed during your last hitch rebuild with new parts, tested and is ready for service. The air swivel is not
installed to protect it from corrosion. We have the ball closed and filled with oil against corrosion. The WO was printed out
and placed in the housing.
Manual IBOP was rebuild and tested. Stacked up with Upper IBOP on rig floor.
BX Elevators
 BX4 – NL0148909: Was moved from U deck and tested to have available spare.
 BX4 – NL0130077: On U deck
 BX4 – NL2546507: In service
 BX4 – NL0132697: Had problem with this BX operating slow on the TDX. Was removed from service but when
tested on the set back the speed was normal. Presume it was a bad QD connection or buildup of mud. The
latch cylinder was also replaced as it was leaking at the rod seal. Ready for service
 BX5 – NL0130360: Ready for service
 BX5 – NL0130046: Ready for service
EBT
We started with the hose change out. The 2x service loops from the control valves to the EBT manifold was replaced.
Hose register updated.
Drawworks
Adjusted brake gap on calipers 4 - 8.
Found the leak at the STB FWD Lower gearbox inspection cover. We replaced the gasket and all good now.
We noticed some uneven wear on the pads at calipers 5 and 6. Keep an eye on this please.
Disassembly brake cylinder for repair, clean the parts, all new seals and springs at the mech shop ready for domonique.
AFT maintenance basket Rig floor
Damaged basket handrail.
Moon pool baskets
The new hoses for the Moon pool Port Basket arrived.
The AFT-STB basket have a damaged hose, replaced and back on service.
Main Well Hydra Racker.
Replaced the Upper guide head latch cylinder. Had to remove, rebuild and then install it as we do not have spares for this
cylinder.
Hydra Racker Gripper spare
Position sensor was replaced, tested and is ready for service.

Hydra Tong Main Well cassette. (installed AUX side)ppp

Spinner bearings did not have much grease in them. Took 2 tubes of grease to fill.
Still only 3 motors installed on the spinner
Hydra Tong Aux Well cassette (installed MW side)
Spinner bearings did not have much grease in them. Took 2 tubes of grease to fill and replaced damaged grease line.
Repair the broken spring pin in the right hand side spinner cylinder clamp.
Repair grease lines on the spinner and greased.
Utility winches
Hook stop was replaced on the STB-Aft winch and a new guard I installed to prevent it from being damaged again.
PS 30
Replaced door hinge pin seals

Shakers
Noise coming from Shaker 3 stb-aft counter weight bearing, bearing are replaced and pack on service.

Mud Centrifuge
Changed hydraulic filters. Centrifuge closest to Trip tank is cleaned and sprayed with zink spray after cleaning for
prevention action, and install a transparent sheet to prevent any mud comes from the tip tank o the centrifuge.

Augers
Auger# 3 – Had a blockage at the bulkhead, cleaned and back to service.
All augers are greased daily, keep it up.

Degasser
Changed oil in Degasser 2 because of bad oil sample.5/1/2018

Mud pumps
1 – STBD inspection cover still leaking. Operations did not allow us to drain the oil to repair the leak. The offline filtration
unit had a cracked fitting at the discharge. Replaced with new and topped up the oil that were lost.
2 – No issues. Bypass filtration unit coupling and pump replaced.
4- Filtration lube oil pump coupling have a damaged rubber star, replaced the rubber only.
12#ea New gauges 0-100psi ¼ NPT at the mech shop to replace all MP gauges to be all of them at the same scale
Kindly drain the mud pump every 12hr specially pump 2&3.
Agitators
Agitator 10 gearbox is repaired and back to service.
Reserve 3 input shaft seal and bearings changed.
We removed the input shaft from the spare on U deck and installed it on 3. The removed shaft is installed on the spare
now. Waiting on parts to rebuild.
All the breathers on the Agitators were replaced.
Active 11 & 12 inlet shaft seal is leaking, keep them under monitoring.
Agitator 6 & 11 have a bad oil sample feedback, gearbox oil is flushed and replaced for both agitators on 12/1/18.

Riser gantry Crane

360 day PM completed, Check the bolts torque on riser crane spreader bar, added pall nut and

Riser Catwalk
Riser catwalk inner arm: trouble shooting synchronization issue, removed both cylinders over center valve and flow
control valve to check adjustment, adjusted PT inner cylinder length, adjusted outer stb cylinder, adjusted trap cylinder PT
doors.

Mousehole
Repaired a minor leak at the QD,s

Bucking machine
Replaced a turn buckle and repaired some fittings at the spinner after it was damaged..
Install fibre glass plate for bucking machine shield protection.

Gripper yoke 20”

During operations noticed that the hose loop was very tight. Stopped the crane and after investigation realized the gripper
was 180 degree out. After getting it in the correct position we had problems with the slew. Cause of problem was broken
wire. ET,s repaired same.

HPU
Holding tank filtration unit E motor is repaired.

Centrifugal pumps
No issues.

Liquid additive diaphragm pump (A)

The fwd hosing is cracked, replaced it only with another one and back to service.

Pipe skate
Change gearbox oil in Pipe skate travel gearbox and trolley gearbox.
Replace the hyd filter element.
Oil Transfer
Transferred 2000 liters of hydraulic oil hyspin 46 to the reserve tank.
