Located in one of the most modern areas of Havana, the Hotel Don
Julio is the ideal place where modernity, comfort and the elegance of
an old city join together.

Built in the mid-twentieth century as a private residence for a wealthy

family, today the Hotel Don Julio excels in the context for its sober but
outstanding appearance.
Its architecture is eclectic and it highlights neocolonial exterior elements such
as tiled roofs, the arches at the main door and the large windows of French
blinds, embellished by natural tones of wood.

It is located in the central intersection of Avenida 31 and Calle 10 in Miramar

neighbourhood, which occupation began in the early twentieth century with
an urban design that has practically reached our days. With its design the
area is distinguished by the modernity of the emplacement that integrates
green areas, parks and wide tree-lined avenues.

The visitor is welcomed by a modest lobby with French-inspired furniture,

lamps and decorated bronze and crystal sconces that exalt the warmth and
elegance of the interior.

Cuarto I $150 / Day

The first room has a sober and stylish furniture. Based on lobular bows and
brass hinges with spherical patterns, the furniture decoration unifies the
assembly composed of a double bed, two nightstands, wardrobe and dressing
table with cushioned stool. The decoration is completed with discrete wall
sconces and gilt bronze lamps arranged on both sides of the bed.
Cuarto II $150 / Day

In this room stands a beautiful bed with upholstered backrest, decorated

with a stylized shell called Haricot or Rognon, distinctive of Louis XV
style. Accompanied by this piece, two nightstands with simple lines and a
dressing table. The cabinet stands by the discrete golden details and
delicate decoration of the polished brass handles. The lighting is resolved
by small table lamps and interesting sconces of bronze and coloured glass.
Cuarto III $150 / Day

The third bedroom is equipped with aircontioning system and

contemporary bathroom. Also it has a Louis XV styled double bed with
upholstered backrest and nightstands with the very design, upon which rest
thin brass lamps with lanterns worked with acid and crystal tears. As a
complement a dresser and a wardrobe with elegant design harmonizes
within the group.

Separated from the main house, there is a fourth room, provided with
independent entrance, air-conditioning system and private bathroom.
The interior decor is more contemporary than the rest. The bed,
presenting a nowadays design, gets along with a slender wardrobe and a
classic wooden desk, arranging a harmonious aesthetics. Modern lamps
lend a graceful atmospher to this room.
