Replacement of DE08 / D1146 engine injection pump
Before remove injection pump from engine, align flywheel timing mark and flywheel housing timing notch.
Then No.1 and No.6 piston will be T.D.C position.
1
Replacement of DE08 / D1146 engine injection pump
No.1 piston must be placed on T.D.C. position of compression state – IN / EX valves have valve gap.
(No.1 cylinder IN / EX valves are closed, No.6 cylinder IN / EX valves are open - overlap position)
If No.6 piston is T.D.C. position of compression state (both valve has valve gap), rotate C.R.S. 360’ degree
(To make No.1 piston be T.D.C. position of compression state)

Replacement of DE08 / D1146 engine injection pump
3. Check timing mark with injection pump gear and idle gear.
Fixed bolts
Remove timing cover near injection pump side and check above aligned mark on timing gear (make mark)
Loose fixing bolts (behind timing cover) and remove injection pump with timing gear from engine.

Replacement of DE08 / D1146 engine injection pump
Gear flange
Loose injection pump shaft nut of gear flange and change new injection pump,
Do not loose gear fixed bolts (6 pcs). if loose it, injection timing will be changed.
4
Replacement of DE08 / D1146 engine injection pump
Make No.1 piston be T.D.C. position of compression state and put new injection pump (above mark must be
aligned) and tighten fixing bolts.
