SECTION C DAYWORK SCHEDULE The Contractor shall be paid for work executed on a Dayworks basis, as instructed, at the rates and prices and under the conditions contained in the “Schedule of Dayworks carried out incidental to Contract Work” issued by the Federation of Civil Engineering Contractors current at the “Designated Date” viz. 10 days before the latest date for receipt of tenders but deeming the Sterling Rates listed as being converted to Euro (€) by multiplying by a factor of 1.27. Rates for wages.and expenses for labour employed on dayworks shall be those current at the “Designated Date” and as defined in the Price Variation Clause, ‘The hourly cost of Labour for Dayworks is defined as the stim of A+ B+C below: A = the hourly rate of wages inclusive of “plus rates” plus 148%. B =the daily rates for exponses applicable plus 12.5% converted to an hourly rate by dividing by 8. C =the weekly rates for expenses applicable plus 12.5% converted to an hourly rate by dividing by 39. It should be noted that increased costs in respect of labour employed on a dayworks basis will ‘be recoverable separately under the terms of the Price Variation Clause. Public Liability Insurance; insurance and indemnity damage, loss or injury to any property oF persons, in accordance with Clause 22 and Clause 23 of, the Conditions of Contract. Compliasice with all Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations, reference Item 6.9 of the Instructions to Tenderers. Development, completion, maintenance and handover of the Health and Safety file to Client. Obligation to accept the appointment as Project Supervisor (Construction Stage), reference Item 6.3 of the Instructions to Tenderers.
