About the Management Development Programme (MDP)
Management education has always been an important constituent of the offerings at CKSVIM. Training corporate
managers / executives is as important as imparting the same to the would-be managers. CKSVIM realizes this vital need of
the corporate world and has accordingly designed the MDP on following functional modules:-

1. Selling Techniques
Everybody sells ! In our personal and professional front we all sell our ideas, thoughts or products & services of our
company. But for every situation knowing good selling techniques is critical. This MDP examines your styles and help you
in developing successful selling techniques in your personal and professional life.

Objectives
• Explore the key issues in developing a go-to-market strategy
• Enhancing personal selling and prospecting skills
• Use a proven model to move through the stages of sales work towards a win-win situation.

2. Negotiation Skills
Negotiation occurs in business, non-profit organizations and government offices, among nations and in personal situations
such as marriage, parenting, and everyday life. Managers devote a great deal of their time in negotiating with various
interest parties on a day to day basis. It is often claimed that ‘in business you do not get what you deserve, you get what
you negotiate’. This MDP will help you understand this difficult process and develop the required skills to become an
effective negotiator.

Objectives
• Understand the basics of negotiations and getting an insight into the negotiation processes
• Understand fundamental rules of negotiation
• Manage the subtle differences that come into play in negotiations between various types of deals

Who should attend?


This programme will benefit Junior and Middle level sales and marketing executives from all industries / sectors in general
and FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Insurance, Service sectors in particular irrespective of whether they sell to their customers
directly or through distribution channels.
It will also benefit sales support / coordination managers, HR managers responsible for managing sales / marketing
people.

Program Fee
The program fee is Rs. 1,200/- per participant
1) 10% Discount for 3 or more participants nominated from the same organization
2) 20% Discount for 6 or more participants nominated from the same organization

Batch Size
The maximum number of participants will be 25. We keep small batch size to ensure that the trainer can work with
individual participant to tailor every activity to be relevant to their workplace.

Dr. Kunjal Sinha is Associate Professor at C. K. Shah
Vijapurwala Institute of Management, Vadodara, Gujarat,
INDIA. She has received Masters of Business Administration
and Doctorate in Management from S.P. University. Her areas
of interest are Research, Marketing Management, Consumer
Behaviour. Her training areas includes Management,
Communication, Corporate Etiquettes and Behavioural
Psychology. She is on Editorial board for SANKALPA-Journal of
Management and Research published by CKSVIM. She is
active in conducting training programs at School,
Undergraduate, Post-graduate as well as Industry level. She
had been awarded “Innovative TrainerAward-2014” and
“Emerging HRD Thinker's Award–2013” from ISTD, New-Delhi.
She holds many such accolades in the area of training and
research.

Dr. Ankit Shah is currently working as Assistant Professor


with C K Shah Vijapurwala Institute of Management. He has
received his MBA from S P University & Doctorate in
Management from Magadh University. His areas of Interest
are Sales and Marketing, Innovation and Creativity and
execution of Corporate Consultancy Projects. He is having
vast Industry experience with renowned corporates like Idea
Cellular Ltd., Gillette India Ltd, Wockhardt Ltd and Tata
Infomedia Ltd. He is active in conducting Training and
Placement programs of postgraduate students. Dr. Shah is
awarded with ‘Industry – Academia Partnership Award 2016’.
He is having a considerable contribution towards inception to
execution of Corporate Management Development Programs
(MDPs).

Ms. Hetal Thakar is Assistant Professor at C. K. Shah


Vijapurwala Institute of Management and has received
Masters of Business Administration Degree from
Saurashtra University. She has been awarded M.Phil and
PGDHRM, and is also pursuing Ph.D with special
reference to Brand Loyalty. Her areas of interest are
Consumer Behaviour, Marketing, and providing Training
through Modern Gaming Techniques. She is active in
conducting training and grooming programs of graduate
and postgraduate students. She is also expert in
imparting professional skills to the students.
