EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The purpose of this project is to accomplish the major requirement in the course,

“System Analysis and Design”, to help a small business of our choice – DIEGO’S RESIN

CRAFT” create and maintain a system which perform basic business operation and to

build a website as an aid to improvement of its marketing strategy.

This project involves the analyzation of the business’ problems, opportunities and

objectives to know what specific area needs greater attention. Interview was conducted

with the owner – Mr. Diego Cadawas to acquire all the necessary information needed.

The main objective is to apply the knowledge gained in the course in helping a small

business improve its performance and achieve objectives mainly, profitability and growth

in terms of using modern technology.

Based on the study, a transaction processing system suits the needs of the business.

Important information such as inventory and purchases will be readily available for the

customers and the organization itself.

The study aimed to create a purchase order system to speed up the retrieval process

of the orders of different customers beyond geographic areas where stores are currently

located.

The proposed system is designed to help the users in maintaining and organizing a

secure and accurate database. It will make their daily transactions faster. The owner will

be able to get the orders in a more convenient way.
