DANIA AIR Diffus-A-Jet capability of delivering both a jet type
stream of air, and a diffused pattern of air is unique in the air
distribution industry. On one side, the inner assembly members are
conical in shape. On the reverse side, the members are cylindrically
in shaped. The diffused pattern should be used where shorter throw
and greater spread is desirable. There is approximately 50%
difference in throw between jet and diffused patterns. Changing from
a jet pattern to diffused pattern, or reverse can be made simply and
quickly at the face of the unit (see adjustment below).This feature
makes the Diffus-A-Jet ideal for interior spaces with variable air
pattern requirements.
TO SET THE AIR DISCHARGE DIRECTION, first loosen the four
locks crews on the face plate, and turn the diffuser inner assembly
until the axis shaft is in its proper plane. Second, to set the inner
assembly at a desired angle, loosen the axis shaft lock screws,
position the inner assembly, and tighten all lock screws.
TO ADJUST THE DIFFUS-A-JET
For jet stream or diffused pattern,
simply loosen the two axis shaft
lock screws, rotate the inner
assembly 180°, and tighten lock
screws.

attached to one mounting panel
permitting multi-directional, as well as
mixed jet and diffused patterns, from
one location.

• SINGLE UNIT can be supplied with

MOUNTING PANEL or with ROUND
FLANGE for installation in a round
duct.

• OPTIONAL ACCESSORY OB Damper

mounted in plenum.

THROW CORRECTION
Our throw data is based on a VT (Terminal
Velocity) of 125 fpm, it may be necessary at
times to us a different VT. To obtain the throw at
other terminal velocities use the following graph
and formula.

DECIBEL CORRECTION
The sound data is based on a near field. The
following graph shows how the sound level is
reduced, as the distance to the unit is
lengthened.
