Glen Ellyn Kitchen Walk and Gourmet Reception October 1

The 2010 Glen Ellyn Kitchen Walk features a Drury Design project that won second place in the National
Kitchen and Bath Association’s large kitchen design contest. Drury Design is proud to be the event’s
presenting sponsor and the event’s gourmet reception host. SubZero and Wolf corporate chef, Craig Bell,
will present a feast with early fall harvest flavors, including burnt tomato crostini, spicy bacon brittle,
pumpkin ravioli, and herb- and panko-encrusted steak bites.
Presented by Baird & Warner of Glen Ellyn as a GoodWill Network project, the Glen Ellyn Kitchen Walk is
an annual event. Since 2003, all Glen Ellyn Kitchen Walk ticket sales and silent auction proceeds have ben-
efited Bridge Communities’ mission to help transition families from homelessness to independence. Tickets
are $25 in advance and $35 the day of the event, and may be purchased at our studio, located at 512 N. Main
Street in Glen Ellyn. For more information about the Glen Ellyn Kitchen Walk, visit http://kitchenwalk.org.

Homes for our Troops for Plainfield Veteran & Family
Terry Kenney, a Drury designer, is donating her time to design a kitchen for Homes for Our
Troops (HFOT), a nonprofit dedicated to building specially designed homes adapted to the
needs of injured veterans. Terry has won numerous NKBA Design Vision awards in both the
kitchen and bath categories, including two first place awards for large baths.

D R U RY D ESI G N WEL C O MES NEW ASSISTANT D ESI G NER

Meet Jason Wickline

ASSISTANT D ESI G NER

Jason Wickline recently joined the Drury Design team as an assistant designer. In this role, Jason will
support lead designers with planning, design and project management details. An experienced custom
cabinetry engineer and detailer, Jason earned his interior design degree at Adrian College in Michigan.
In joining Drury Design, Jason says, “I couldn’t be happier with the choice I made. Everyone here is so
talented and so helpful.”
Jason enjoys designing solutions - laying out cabinetry and making the entire space as functional as pos-
sible. “I believe when designing client spaces, functionality is equally important as the style and appearance
of the room,” says Jason. “When the client sees the end result and displays their appreciation for the space,
it is a great feeling and why I love this business. I’m proud to be a part of this organization and proud of the
work that we do. I believe Drury Design is one of the best in the business and has a great reputation.”
