The student requires repetitions- sometimes up to 3. When given

a listening task the student can understand materials with slow
speed and clear speech. The student may also demonstrate slow

 The student can understand questions using simple verb

The student can comprehend questions with little repetitions/

explanation. He can understand information conveyed in simple,
sentence-length speech on familiar or everyday topics. He can

Comprehension is not a problem with the teacher. Student can

easily catch the teacher’s meaning and even hidden meanings of
words are easily understood. The student is not strained in the
listening process and s/he can already differentiate the various
6.0 - 6.99 71- 85% Low Advance consonant and vowel sounds.

The student has little or no problems with his/her comprehension

skills. He/She can understand and deduce hidden meanings from
statements. No repetitions and paraphrasing. The student can
understand contents really quick. They can understand the main
facts and many supporting details. Comprehension is derived not
only from situational and subject-matter knowledge, but also
7.0 - 8.0 86-100% High Advance from an increasing overall facility with the language itself.
