An oval face gives you the freedom to experiment

Beads in wine-country colors combine with lush resin
beads for an intoxicating necklace of any length. The
twisting second strand mimics a vine, and simple
dangle earrings are well-balanced top notes.

1 necklace • String a bicone crystal, a small leaf, and a

medium leaf on a head pin. Bend the head pin at a right
angle and string two 80 seed beads.
2 Determine the finished
length of your necklace.
(Mine is 16 in./41cm.) Add

repeat step 4a until the
strand is within ½ in. (1.3cm)
of the desired length. Tape
the ends.
7 On each end of the second strand, string five 110s, a
pearl, and 13 110s. String the wire through the second 80
between two 110s on the first strand. Repeat.
8 On each end of the second strand, string 19 110s. String
the wire through the second 80 between two 110s on
the first strand.
9 a On each end of the
second strand, string
110s until the strand is ¼ in.
(6mm) longer than the first
strand on each side.
b Remove the tape
from the first strand. On each
side, over both strands, string
a crimp bead and half of the
clasp. Go back through the
beads just strung and tighten
the wires. Check the fit, and
add or remove beads from
each end if necessary. Crimp
the crimp beads (Basics) and
trim the excess wire.
5 Cut a piece of beading wire 6 in. (15cm) longer than the
first. Make a leaf dangle as in step 1, omitting the
medium leaf. Center 17 110s, the small leaf dangle, and 17
110s on the wire.
