Game
Students play in pairs. Photocopy and cut up one sheet of adjectives for each pair. Shuffle
the cards and place the cards face down on the table. Player 1 picks three cards and
creates a sentence using the three adjectives in the correct order. If the sentence is correct
and makes sense, Player 1 keeps the cards. If the order is incorrect, he or she puts all the
cards back. If one of the adjectives does not make sense in the sentence, but the order is
correct, he or she puts back only the card that does not make sense. Then, Player 2 does the
same. The winner is the player with the most cards after five minutes.
