Overview of Kofax Capture
Kofax Capture™ creates digital images from documents
received from multiple sources, such as mobile, email, MFPs,
web, fax and scanners. Kofax Capture then extracts index
data for retrieval purposes and delivers the images and
associated data to a variety of repositories and applications.
This can significantly reduce retrieval costs while improving
regulatory and compliance efforts. Kofax Capture is flexible
and scalable, enabling customers to define where and how
images are captured and indexed, whether in a home office,
remote branch or back office data center.
Kofax Capture is designed for almost any size enterprise that
employs manual, error-prone or expensive processes for
managing and processing large volumes of documents.

Overview of Kofax Transformation
Kofax Transformation adds document classification and
separation, and data extraction and validation capabilities to
Kofax Capture. By automating what were previously labor-
intensive, inefficient, error-prone and time-consuming
document processing tasks, Transformation can significantly
reduce labor costs, boost productivity and efficiency,
accelerate business processes, and better engage and
empower customers. Transformation classifies and extracts
any document type, including invoices, orders, enrollment
and claim forms, mailroom documents, mortgages,
contracts and correspondence. Its learning technologies save
time in initial configuration and ongoing maintenance, and
its high levels of automation and exception handling
efficiency deliver rapid payback.
Transformation is ideal for large and medium enterprises
with manual, error-prone or expensive processes for
classifying and separating many different document types,
and manually entering data from those documents into the
systems that need it. A license for 10,000 pages recurring
“starter volume” of Kofax Transformation is now included
with every Kofax Capture system version 10 or higher. The
