DUTIES OF INTERNAL SECURITY GUARDS

1. The security guards would be carrying out roving patrol in their area of
responsibility keeping a vigil on activities by personnel around.

2. The duties of the security guards are as follows:-

(a) Random checks of personnel to ascertain identity of personnel in

premises. Any person not in possession of valid identity card/ security
pass or moving about in a suspicious manner are to be brought to the
notice of police stn.

(b) Surprise checks of vehicles (motor bikes and cycles) driven by

domestic helps’ dependents and civil contract workers.

(c) Patrol the area to check damage or theft of public. They are to
patrol the area given to each security guard and monitor any suspicious
activity or person found to be suspicious.

(d) Report violations on various directives by residents or

domestic Helps. Internal Security Guards are supposed to take details
and submit to admin office about person found indulging in:-

(i) Violation of vehicle parking.

(ii) Overspeeding and entering in no entry areas.
(iii) Minors driving vehicles.
(iv) Check on any civil work taking place in the premises as well
as in the Buildings.
(vii) Incidents of throwing of grabage by domestic helps.
(viii) Keeping flower pots on parapet.
(ix) Use of market area by domestic helps during Officers
timings.
(x) Use of officers lift by domestic helps and their dependents
(x) Domestic helps children playing in officers children parks.
(xii) Playing of ball games in the residential area which may
cause damage to life or property.
(xiii) Spitting of paan .
(xiii) Breakage of terrace locks.
(xiv) Internal Monitoring of Stair Case area for any disturbance by
crowding .
(xv) Checks on Notice Board For any Notice without Sign & Seal
of NOFRA administration
(xvi) Domestic helps dirtying the lift or common areas.
(xvii) Domestic helps indulging in creating noise pollution.
(xviii) Domestic helps indulging in gatherings after 2000 hrs.
 (xix) Domestic helps not moving around in proper rig.
(xx) Violation of directives on handling of pet dogs.
(xxi) Vehicles found without valid pass from police stn.
(xxii) Keeping luggage in common areas.
(xxiii) Plucking of flowers.
(xxiv) Use of football ground by unauthorised people.

(d) Report state of liftmen.

(e) Report damage to horticulture by dumping of debris or construction

material by MES contractor.

(f) Report any unauthorised dumping of goods by MES contractor.

(g) Check any garbage truck leaving for any kind of pilferage.

(h) Check any infiltration in by climbing the boundary walls.
