Time Instructional Procedures and Strategies


5 mins Beginning the Lesson
- The students will read the sentence about the colors and the teacher will link with the
biblical worldview.
- Teacher will introducing the title of the book with the author and the illustrator and the
students will say the name of the author and the illustrator. Will show students with the
picture
15 mins - Teacher will ask the students: what do you see on the cover and the back of the book?

Developing the Lesson


- The students will repeat the title of the book” I NEED A LUNCH BOX”
- Teacher will start from page 3 and ask the students, what do they see on this page? Then
teacher will start to read by using different voices and a bit gesture. Then teacher will
keep reading until page 15 and still use the different voices and the gesture
- On page 16-17, teacher will ask the students to close their eyes (to make them have a
dream/imagine on what the teacher read) then the students will open their eyes.
- Then teacher start to read from page 19 -27 and using five lunch boxes which has
different colors ( these five lunch boxes to show the students on what they had dream)
and the students also will repeat the teacher.
- Teacher will keep reading until page 28-30 then finish the story, while finish the reading
the teacher also has another box, that is a box for a little boy got in the book.

mins Closing the Lesson
- Teacher will has the lunch boxes parade in front of the students and ask them “how many
lunch box does a boy had a dream?” lets count!
- Teacher will ask the students come to the front one by one and ask the students to count
the lunch box and what colors do they see?
