$15.2 Million Total Building The Maitland Senior Living Campus provides a community supporting aging-in-
Status of Project place with access to a wide range of programs including personal care, home
Project Pending health, adult day care, therapy, and high tech medical care–all delivered in a
residential setting.
This campus of one and two story facilities provides on-grade access to the
landscaped grounds for over 80% of campus residents. The Commons provides a
central hospitality focus for campus-wide activities and services.
ALF Residents live in pods of 7 grouped around individual living rooms; 4 pods
make a cluster of 28 residents. Nursing and Sub-Acute residents live in clusters of
20. Meals are served in each cluster from residential-style serving kitchens. All
units feature showers to foster dignity and independence. Semi-Private Nurshing
rooms feature a privacy wall between beds.

The site is located on a large lake. Wandering paths lead to a gazebo on the edge of
the lake for contemplation.
All campus buildings are to be constructed using prefabricated concrete bearing
walls with integral insulation. Floor systems of 2 story buildings are bar joist and
metal deck with concrete topping. Roof construction will be wood truss. All
buildings to be of 1 hour protected construction, fully sprinklered.
