AN ORDER CREATING THE PROVINCIAL PERMANENT ACTION TEAM IN


THE PROVINCE OF IFUGAO FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE
CITIZENS’ COMPLAINT HOTLINE 8888

WHEREAS, His Excellency President Rodrigo Roa Duterte signed


Executive Order No. 6 entitled “Institutionalizing the 8888 Citizens’ Complaint
Hotline and Establishing the 8888 Complaint Center”;

WHEREAS, said Hotline Number shall serve as a mechanism where local


citizens may report their complaints and grievances on acts of red tape, as
defined under RA No. 9485 and other relevant laws, and/or corruption of any
National Government Agency, Government-Owned or Controlled Corporation
(GOCC)/ Government Financial Institutions (GFIs) and other instrumentalities
of the Government;

WHEREAS, Cabinet Secretary Leonico B. Evasco, Jr. signed a


Memorandum Circular for all heads of agencies to designate an overall
Permanent Action Team to answer the queries, concerns and complaints of the
citizen through the Hotline 8888;

WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2017 – 109 signed on 27


August 2017 directs the creation of a Permanent Action Team at the Local
Government Units level;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, PEDRO G. MAYAM-O, Provincial Governor of the


Province of Ifugao, by the powers vested upon me by law, do hereby directs the
creation of the Provincial Permanent Action Team for the implementation of the
Citizens’ Complaint Hotline 8888, to wit:

Section 1. Composition of the Provincial Permanent Action Team:

Permanent Focal Person : ATTY. DIONISIO D. MILIO

Alternate Focal Person: : CLEMENTE S. TALUSIG

Technical Officer : ROSEMARIE P. LINDAWAN

Section 2. Function of the Provincial Permanent Action Team:

The Team shall be responsible in providing sound decisions and


responses to the queries, concerns and complaints in relation to the feedback
received through Hotline 8888;
Section 3. Separability Clause.

If, for any reasons, any of the provisions of this order is declared invalid
or unconstitutional, the other provisions not affected thereby shall remain in
full force and effect.

Section 4. Repealing Clause.

All other orders or issuances which are inconsistent with the provisions
of this Order are hereby repealed, amended or modified accordingly.

Section 5. Effectivity Clause.

This Executive Order takes effect immediately and shall remain in force
unless revoked or repealed by the signing authority.
