Generation project was created to modernize the child support document generation subsystem.

Approximately 115,000 documents are produced and printed locally by child support agencies each
month using the current OfficeVision document generation subsystem.

The OfficeVision document generation subsystem currently used is no longer supported by the product
vendor.

Along with the existing system providing the moderate document solutions to DCF with the new system:
 Provide the ability for workers to manually create documents through online requests
 Provide the ability for documents to be automatically created as a result of actions taken by workers
 Provide the ability for documents to be automatically created as a result of batch
 Provide a subsystem capable of maintaining document templates and bundles in a central repository

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: Warranty Service Analyzer (WSA) is a web based tool for
computing IPTV and Cost per Vehicle (CPV) trends from the warranty data. The motivation for IPTV
(Incidents for thousand vehicles) module is to develop standard process, in terms of age and mileage
based field failure analysis. Previously, Warranty Analysis calculations were done based on age. Now in
IPTV, Warranty Analysis calculations will be done based on age, mileage and both age & mileage (Bi-
variate). These age and mileage based Warranty calculations are based on the following two major
assumptions.

 The accumulation of miles is approximately linear with age for all the vehicles which have at
least one warranty claim.
 The distribution of mileage accumulation rate in vehicles without any claims is same as that of
vehicles which have at least one warranty claim.
 As a result of above assumptions, we can achieve more accurate warranty rates and take the
advantage of early detection of problems.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: ICORE is AT&T OSS that supports AT&T’s high-speed services,
which include Frame Relay, ATM, FR, Ethernet and POS services for both domestic and global. It is
basically a provisioning system for Ports, PVCs for FR, ATM and IP over FR networks and also maintains
the inventory of the same. Major phases in ICORE are Customer Reference provide the customer,
premise, site information. Asset Management System (AMS) provides the physical assets (node premise,
network elements, cards, and ports). Order Management System (OMS) provides Management of
Customer orders for different resources or services. Connection Management System (CMS) it deals
with inventory and configuration of all types of Frame Relay and ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode)
PVCs. Port Assignment Tool (PAT) responsible for the assignment of assets to customers who subscribe
to the AT&T Frame Relay/ATM service/IP services. Path Allocation Manager (PAM) generates the most
optimal port assignment for a customer, based on engineering rules, capacity, bandwidth requirements,
load balancing, and cost.
