• Independently performed focused assessments on post-operative orthopedic and surgical patients recovering from
general, local, and spinal anesthesia
• Monitored patient vital signs, IV sites/lines, pain levels, dressings, wound drains, and surgical sites for any changes
• Documented detailed assessments in patient charts using Cerner Powerchart software
• Observed patients undergo surgical process from beginning of pre-operative phase to discharge
• Collaborated with healthcare team to manage care for post-operative patients, including but not limited hand, foot
and ankle, total joint replacement, and back surgeries
