The business catalog group Sales Overview
(SAP_SD_BCG_SALES_OVP_DISPL_PC) contains the business
catalog Sales – Sales Overview
(SAP_SD_BC_SALES_OVP_DISPL_PC). This is where the tile My
Sales Overview is defined.

The business role Internal Sales Representative

(SAP_BR_INTERNAL_SALES_REP), which uses the business catalog
Sales – Sales Overview, should be assigned to your business user.

Depending on the responsibilities of the business user, the following

business roles provide additional authorizations and should be assigned:
• Returns & Refund Clerk (SAP_BR_RETURNS_REFUND_CLERK)
authorizes navigation to the Manage Customer Returns application.
• Sales Manager (SAP_BR_SALES_MANAGER) authorizes access to
the Compared to Month of Previous Year – Incoming Sales
Orders card and navigation to the Incoming Sales Orders
application.

In addition to the ‘Basic’ filters that display in the smart filter bar, you can
specify additional Sales Overview filters namely:

• Customer Classification – the values match the ‘Sold-to Party’ field in

relevant cards such as the: Open Sales Quotations, Open Sales
Orders, Customer Returns and Blocked Credit Memo Requests
cards. For the Customer Contacts card, the values match the
‘Customer Classification’ field of the customer.
• Created By – the values match the ‘Name of the person who created’
field in relevant cards with sales documents
• Last Changed By – the values match the ‘Name of the person who
last changed’ field in relevant cards with sales documents

The business role SAP_BR_SALES_MANAGER must be assigned to the business user in
order to display the Compared to Month of Previous Year card. If the user is missing this
authorization, they will not see the card.
The Incoming Sales Orders card is visible in all platforms supported by the My Sales
Overview application. However, since the Manage Incoming Sales Orders application is
only available on desktop, the user will not be able to navigate from this card to this
application when using the My Sales Overview application on a mobile device.
The header displays three types of information namely:
• Current Month’s Value (in green) – incoming sales orders of the current month from
day 1 to the current date (e.g. if the current date is May 24th, 2017 then this value is
the aggregated amount of the incoming sales orders from May 1 st , 2017 to May 24th,
2017)
• Target Value – incoming sales orders of the same date and month last year (e.g. if
the current date is May 24th, 2017 then this value is the aggregated amount of the
incoming sales orders from May 1st , 2016 to May 24th, 2016)
• Deviation – the % difference in incoming sales orders between the Current Month’s
Value and the Target Value

The graph displays incoming sales orders by a monthly aggregated value that is
represented by a dot. You can see the monthly aggregated amount for the incoming sales
order for two specific years as follows:
• Current year – incoming sales orders from January 1 st to current date (i.e. using blue)
• Last year – incoming sales orders from January 1 st to December 31st (i.e. using green)

Note: clicking on the graph now allows you to navigate to the Incoming Sales Order
application.
