• Managed and analyzed concussion data covering both club athletes and varsity
student-athletes at Elon University to further understand why athletes are
underreporting sports-related concussions.
• Conducted a SWOT analysis to expand partnerships and collaborations outside of
the BrainCARE.
Graduate Research Assistant; Institute to Promote Athlete Health and Wellness,
Greensboro, North Carolina, August 2016- present
• Supported the implementation and dissemination of research being conducted on
myPlaybook, a web-based behavioral intervention designed to decrease alcohol
and other drug abuse among collegiate student-athletes.
• Contributed to the development of new myPlaybook modules by helping create
initial outlines of module scripts, reviewing scripts, and reviewing alpha versions.
• Collaborated with student-athletes and campus administrators to create customized
implementation strategies and strategies for overcoming barriers to effective
implementation.
• Assisted in the College Athlete Risky Drinking Study (CARDS) by assisting in
survey building, assisting with random assignment, and coordinating the
implementation in the surveys.
