GoogleMap Download tool introduction

GoogleMap Download is developed by GTOSoftware – ESRI Partner – to

download Maps from GoogleMap into the mainframe of basemap.

Change User Account Control Setting

Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Change User Account Control Settings
Change to “Never notify” as the picture below.
Restart computer

Install GoogleMap Download

On condition that “GoogleMap Download”

don’t be shown on the menu bar.
 Click left mouce on the “Customize…”
on the Toolbar and then click button “Add
from file…”, the Customize dialog will
be opened as below.

 Navigate to GoogleMapDownload.tlb file in the new installed

folder.

 After install successful the dialog

Added Object… will be shown as
on the right side means the
“GoogleMap Download” tool has
added successful..

 Activate “GoogleMap Download” tool as the other extention of

ArcGIS.

There are three option to use

o Street map
o Satellite image
o Terrain map
