Responsibilities

 Working as a consulting Engineer & Supervising Construction of Sub Stations,

 That includes design review, issuance of drawing for construction, material approval and
supervision of construction activities as per SEC and Project Technical Specification (PTS).
 Undertaking technical and feasibility studies and site investigations &developing detailed
designs&thinking both creatively and logically to resolve design and development

 Managing change, as the client may change their mind about the design, and ensuring
relevant parties are notified of changes in the project
 Ensuring that a project runs smoothly and that the structure is completed on time and
within budget
 Work includes but not limited starting from Excavation, structural backfill, Access roads by
using structural backfilling material, complete Building construction (Steel, formwork,
concrete & finishes), and Asphalt roads inside substations.
 Managing, supervising and visiting contractors on site and advising on civil engineering
issues;
 Witnessing all materials laboratory testing such as Soil classification, concrete mix design,
proctor, CBR and plate load test required for building and road construction.compiling,
checking and approving reports.
 To implement an effective quality management by ensuring quality control and quality
assurance, safety of all personnel related to work and complete project reporting from site
to management.
 Correcting any project deficiencies that affect production, quality and safety requirements
before final evaluation and project reviews.
 To prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly progress reports for the project.
 Attending public meetings to discuss projects, especially in a senior roleTo make Drafts and
Site Instructions notes regarding the Site problems and forward to Divisional Manager.
 Overseeing the work, communicating and liaising effectively with colleagues and architects,
subcontractors, contracting civil engineers, consultants, co-workers and clients;
 Well aware of local and international standards, statutory and regulatory specifications.
 Ensure correction of works if required. Ensure that the work complies with the
requirements of the specification and relevant codes and standards.
 Coordinate inter-discipline releases and clearances. Ensuring smooth transition of
construction stages.
 A combined extensive experience of civil, structural, buildings, roads and infrastructures,
environmental and waste treatment facilities design and management.
 Adopting all relevant requirements around issues such as building permits, environmental
