1.3 Layout VO10 / VO20 Separator
The VO10 and VO20 have 4 anchoring points Ø18 locateted on each of its feet. The
spacing is 510mm x 460mm

1.4 Step by Step Instructions
1. Place the VO10 / VO20 separator on the floor in the desired location. Make sure
that the separator points the right direction and the necessary space is available for
the centrifuge and piping.

2. Mark out the four mounting hole via the separators feet. Remove the separator
again and drill the 4 holes into the existing concrete floor. Holes Ø 18 X 145 mm.
3. After drilling the holes, clean the area and the holes for concrete dust.
It is very important that the holes are completely cleaned.

4. Cut each of the thread rods into pieces with Length = 280mm. Each new piece has
to be cut in a 45° degrees angle in one end.
5. Mount the four threaded rods into the existing concrete floor with the chemical
plugs.

6. Slide the VO10 / VO20 separator back down on the now fastened rods.
Make sure that the separator is leveled and stands even on the floor.
7. Check level of the separator. If the separator is not leveled use washers and shims
to level out the machine. The maximum horizontal deviation is 0.4° in both
directions.

8. Once the separator is leveled, tighten the first set of bolts on all four legs. When
separator if fully fastened, add the second set of bolts to lock and secure the
separator in place
