FASTENING OF THE

CLAMPING UNIT OF
PLANETARY BALL MILLS

1 Clamping unit of Planetary Ball Mills.

2 Place the clamping unit in the middle of the grinding jar

and turn the base of the clamping unit into the notches
(if required, the height of the base can be changed as
described in section 4).

3 Take care that the base is fully placed within the notch and
zz
that it does not stick out too far.

4 For spinning the handle pull the red locking sleeve upwards.
The Safety Slider will be pulled upwards as well. Twist the
clamping unit against the grinding jar.

5 The control field of the Safety Slider must turn green to

ensure correct positioning and fastening of the clamping unit.

6 Let the locking sleeve snap down audibly with a slight turning
of the handle; this should no longer be rotatable at this point.
