LIBRARY EXPERIENCE
Responsibilities Include:
- Determining and reviewing the library’s objectives in consonance with
university’s objectives and national goals in the library and information field
- Planning for the long term development of the library’s services as a whole in
relation to the university’s programmes (to include the physical facilities,
collection development, staffing and service programmes).
- Developing strategic plans to support internal and external operations and to
channel resources into a supportive technology infrastructure for the Campus
Library System.
- Creating and maintaining a working environment that emphasizes user
services and facilitates a technological infrastructure which improves
functionality for all users.
- Formulating, reviewing and approving policies for the management of all
library operations within the Campus Library System.

- Coordinating the work of all units/divisions and branches within the Campus
Library system
- Preparing annual and periodic special reports on the library service for
consideration by the Academic Quality Assurance Committee (AQUAC) and
Administrative Officers of the University.
