LESSON OUTLINE

Well, this is my lesson plan:

 First, I want to start with this good game to remember the previous topic and
connecting it with the new one: Present Continuous.
What are Wolf doing?

(Every child is going to be in a circle moving his/ her body while are going to
sing this song: Let's play in the forest until the Wolf is there. Let’s play in the
forest until the Wolf is there. And while we all play the wolf will say: And while
we all play the wolf will say: I’m waking up. The Wolf is going to say different
daily routines but in progressive way. I am going to choose one wolf, but the next
one is going to be the person who catch the first wolf. This dynamic is going to
continue at least 15 minutes ).Example:

Wolf 1: I am getting.

Wolf 2: I`m getting dressed… (15 minutes for this activity).

 Second, I going to teach the theory about Present Continuous. I need to start with
the definition of this tense and its uses: (40 minutes for this activity).

We use the Present Continuous to talk about activities in progress at the time
of speaking and temporary situations.

Example:

I am hiking in the mountains .It is raining!

We are doing gymnastics this morning.

After, I will ask them Look at, outside!

What are people doing?

So, they are going to give me some examples and I am going to help them to
construct sentences with Present Continuous.

Then, I am going to explain how to make affirmative sentences with Present Continuous
Structure:

Subject+ verb to Be + Verb with ING

He is eating in Kenya.

Then, Yes/No questions:

Structure:

Verb To Be + subject + verb with ING+ complement

Are you dancing in Japan?

After this, Present Continuous with WH-Questions:

Structure:

WH +Verb To Be +Subject +verb in Progressive.

Where are they living right now?

Negative sentences:

Subject + Verb to Be + Not +Verb with ING.

We aren’t playing rugby.

 Third, in this part I am going to put some activities of Student’s Book in pag. 20.
Then, I am going to check their answers. (35 minutes for this activity).

 Fourth, I will ask to students to work together in one exercise of pag.20 (6).
NOTES: The times between of activities and explanation depends of the class and their
participation or doubts, I set an estimated time for each part of the class.

METHODS AND SKILLS DEVELOPED:

 I will use the Task-Based Language learning method for the learners to complete
a task about the previous knowledge they have in the topic. In the explanation
part, I will use the direct Method to explicate the topic entirely in the target
language. The students will be not allowed to use their mother tongue, they have
to participate in the class speaking in English. In the final part of the class, I will
use the Suggestopedia Method applying music to introduce new concepts and
words to make students learn without mental blocks. In conclusion, I will usage
different strategies taking into consideration the different methods that can be
used to have a successful lesson.
 The main skill that will be developed is: writing, but this lesson could help the
students improve other communicative competences like listening and reading.

EVALUATION
The students ‘performance will be assessed according to the next criteria, that is going to
be based on formative assessment.
1. Cognitive aspect; memorize and repeat the new vocabulary and Simple Present's
structure and rules.
2.Affective aspect; it will be evaluated in the process of teaching and learning;
3. Psychomotor aspect; it will be evaluated in the process of teaching and learning.
4. The students’ feedback about your their performance during the class and learning
process inside the classroom and outside of the classroom.
