University of Engineering and Technology Taxila hereby offers Full Time / Part Time & Endowment Fund PhD
Admissions in the following Disciplines:-

Eligibility a) PhD program shall be open to the candidates who have Bachelor’s and Master’s
Degree in the relevant Engineering/discipline/specialization recognized by the
Criteria HEC/PEC/NCEAC with minimum CGPA 3.0/4.00 or First division in MSc
Engineering/Sciences.

Candidates must qualify University Locally Developed Test with at least 60%
cumulative score (specimen is available on UET web site).

Rs.60,000/- per month scholarship is available for selected Full Time PhD
Scholarships Scholars for 36 months from the date of enrollment.
The Endowment Fund Scholarship Scheme ( Rs.60,000/- per month) is also
available for the above deciplines at S.No 5 to 10.

Application form alongwith requisite documents and Postal Order/Bank Draft of Rs.
Submission of 1000/- (non-refundable) in favour of Treasurer UET Taxila, payable at HBL UET
Applications Taxila, be submitted to the Office of Dean of the concerned faculty as per Schedule
given below:-

i) Subjective/Locally Developed Test will be conducted by the 06.02.2018
Schedule of Directorate of ASR&TD for PhD Admissions in Multipurpose at 10.00 a.m.
Admission Hall, UET, Taxila.
ii) The Scholars on Endowment Fund program will be
selected on the basis of Merit.
Display of result at UET, Taxila web site 06.02.2018
Interview in the relevant department at 10.00 a.m. 09-02-2018
Display of list for the selected candidates 12.02.2018
Last date of Registration 16.02.2018
Start of 1st Semester Classes 19.02.2018

N  Application form can also be obtained from the Directorate of Advanced Studies
Research & Technological Development and concerned Dean, UET Taxila.

 UET Rules and Regulations are applicable mentioned in PGS Prospectus-2018

E  NOC is required from Employer (where applicable).
 Leave from employer is required for full time/ Endowment fund PhD Scholars for the
stipulated period.
 PhD candidates are also required to prepare detailed research proposal on
prescribed format on his/ her preferred research area mentioned at UET web page
