Music Video Shooting Script
Description of visuals
Close up of the guitar strings being
played, cut to close up of the hands
clapping then cut to a medium long
shot of a guitarist performing with
coloured smoke bombs either side of
him and strobe coloured balloons in the
background.
As the lyrics begin the speed of music
slows, this is when it will cut to a couple
going through their everyday life
showing the boys admiration for
everything she does. This section will
start with the couple waking up
together and then cut to over shoulder
shot of her cooking breakfast for him.
Chorus begins- cuts to long shot of
guitarist with smoke bombs and
coloured balloons around performing
for first line, cuts to long shot of same
artist outdoors in the dark with a large
LED light behind the camera shining on
guitarist with coloured smoke bombs
behind the artist. For 3rd line cuts to
guitarist playing under a bridge with sun
setting in background. This loop is
played for each repetition of these
lines.
Cuts to couple walking through fields
and parks together buying ice cream
along the river on a sunny day, these
will mainly be long shots and close ups,
there will be tracking shots and dolly’s
included as well.
Cuts back to the loop of the guitarist in
the 3 locations for the 3 lines repeated

twice, each one with a new style of
editing on it different to before, like
overlaying clips, reflection of shot and
box effects.
This instrumental section of the song will
be a selection of the clips of the
performances quickly cutting back and
forth from clips of the couple out
together.
Cuts back to loop of the performance
in the three different locations, cuts
from each shot at the end of each line,
this loop continues for the rest of the
music video.

your music video. Please screenshot these emails including the dates and
times they are agreeing to paste them below.
Contingency Plan
What are your plans for if something goes wrong? What back
up actors, locations and equipment do you have?

I have emailed back up actors for the two roles in my music video confirming
that they are both available to film if for any circumstances my main two
actors were unavailable to film for my productions. I am planning on using
coloured smoke bombs in my production but if for any reason I cannot get
these smoke bombs I have a smoke machine available at college and
coloured LED lights to make the smoke look as if it was coloured.
