 Congratulations 2018 MWHS Graduates!
On behalf the faculty and staff of Mineral Wells ISD, allow me
to tell you how proud we all are of you. You have persevered
through your many years of education and have reached a
milestone that you will always remember. As you walk across
the stage to receive your high school diploma, I hope you will
realize that you have acheived an honor that no one can ever
take away from you. And while a diploma is only a piece of
paper, it is an important key that can open many doors for
you in your life. Many occupations require you to have that
piece of paper, and colleges and the military look for it. It is
ultimately so more than a piece of paper—it represents the
culmination of your hard work and dedication to intellectual,
social, and moral development.
 
As you go forward in this life, know that you carry with you the
hopes and dreams of a whole community. We—your teachers,
parents, and neighbors—are watching you and will celebrate
your successes along the way. Wherever you go—whatever
heights of glory you attain in life—never forget where you
came from. You will have many jobs and titles during your
lifetime, but none will overshadow this title of graduate that
you have earned with this important step. Once a Ram, always
a Ram. Godspeed, and God bless. Go make us proud.
