1 Pool Capacity
The Pool capacity is your central monitoring console:
 “Staffing stats bar chart” transferred to pool capacity tab
 Pool capacity ready to use to fill your weekly reporting (ASR, follow-up…)
 Addition of attention points, ex: resources becoming Unbilled within 8 weeks, over-allocations…

Pool Capacity content:

Pool Capacity
Dashboard Grid V1.22 Final.xlsx

Along with some definitions to help you understanding the Pool Capacity Content:
Projects:
- External project:
o Project with an external client
o External project is billed to the client (but may include a billed-free period, such as: back-up or
extension of delivery)
- Internal project:
o Project not billed to an external client
o Internal project can be of several types “BDQPR”: Bid, Delivery, Quality, Practice, Research

Staffing status:
- Non-billable: long-term absences, maternity, training, Workers council…
- Utilized:
o Resources allocated more than 50% of their weekly capacity on an external project
o Can be billed or billed-free
o Resources Utilized while on holiday or Sickness are considered as Utilized
- Unbilled:
o Resources not utilized
o Within Unbilled, distinction is made between:
 Unbilled Allowance:
 Resources being part of the gross margin and who are dedicated to internal
projects (they are tagged accordingly with a start/end date of Allowance)
 They are not supposed to be Utilized on external project, even if, in some rare
cases, they could be Utilized
 Unbilled Bench
 Unbilled – Internal Projects: resources not Utilized (> 50%) but allocated on
internal projects (> 50%)
 Unbilled – No Allocation: resources not Utilized (> 50%) and not on internal
projects (> 50%)
o Resources Unbilled while on sickness are considered as non-billable
