‘The Honorable Devin Nunes
Chairman
House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence
HYVC-304 - The Capitol
Washington, DC 20515
Dear. Mr. Chairman:
I request that the Committee immediately authorize the release of all Executive Session transcripts
produced during the course of the Committee's Russia Investigation to the Special Counsel, Robert
Mueller.
‘These materials may be important to Mr. Mueller’s investigation, and shed additional light on the issues
of collusion and obstruction of justice. | also have concerns that certain witnesses may have testified
untruthfully before our Committee, and believe that Mr. Mueller should consider whether perjury charges
are warranted in light of the additional evidence in his possession.
remain dedicated to seeing the transcripts released to the public and note that Representative Conaway
and other Majority Members of the HPSCI have repeatedly expressed their commitment to making the
transcripts public upon the issuance of the Majority report. Despite the report's publication, the Majority
abandoned this pledge under the unsupported pretext of protecting the Special Counsel’s investigation,
We have consulted Special Counsel to see whether they had any objection to publication of the
‘ranscripts— they expressed none.
But until the Majority lives up to its commitment to make the transcripts public, they must be shared with
Special Counsel to assist his investigation and, as appropriate, to allow him to assess whether witnesses
violated federal law by providing false testimony.
Sincerel
