PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Polymorphic Solutions, Houston, TX 2014 - Present

TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT
Researched, reverse engineered and inspected multiple IoT, Bluetooth, and NFC devices for vulnerabilities.
Architected a family of network security devices that utilized deep learning algorithms for network monitoring,
auditing, intrusion detection, and rapid response to intrusions. Designed and developed a remote work-site
development server that provides continuous integration builds, source code control/management, secure
communications, knowledge management, remote backups, and secure internet connectivity.

 Named Inventor on multiple patents for Payment Card Industry (PCI) encryption and blockchain
synchronization. Implemented these patents to allow a client to upgrade PCI and cryptocurrency
functionality with enhanced security into an existing deployed product through a simple firmware
update. Led to a 50,000-unit order of the device by the client’s customers, valued over several million
dollars.
 Designed and executed a hardware integration and the supporting software library of a LoRa chip-set,
including encryption and power management, for an existing smart-wallet product.
 Originated and implemented a multi-axis, touch screen CNC controller that utilizes standard GRBL G-
Code and manages and monitors all auxiliary systems.
 Designed and applied a completely dynamic, global synchronization of an EAM application using MS-SQL
that provides row-level inserts, column-level-updates, caching, compression, and transaction
verification over an encrypted channel targeted at remote locations serviced by satellite
communication.

Behavioral Recognition Systems Labs, Houston, TX 2008 – 2014

DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE SECURITY (2008 – 2014)
Drafted and implemented corporate InfoSec & Counter Espionage policies and procedures. Designed the data-
transport specifications for the AISight product line. Performed routine penetration testing and hardening of all
servers and software products. Designed and implemented 2-Factor Single-Sign-On (SSO) Authentication system
for all R&D Systems. (Managed these responsibilities concurrent with following roles)
 Developed counterespionage training for all employees that helped prevent any IP from being disclosed
prior to a Patent Application being filed, zero network intrusions, and led us to passing all third-party
security audits required by the government.

LEAD RESEARCH ENGINEER (2011 – 2014)

Designed and implemented a video aggregation application in C++ capable of managing, monitoring, and
troubleshooting up to 200 video feeds, compositing them into a single 4Kx4K video stream. Engineered and
implemented a foreground-separation and optical flow video pipeline capable of processing 4Kx4K @ 60FPS
video on an FPGA
 Primary Inventor of the patent "Cognitive Information Security Using a Behavior Recognition System"
and Inventor for the patent "A Cognitive Neuro-Linguistic Behavior Recognition System for Multi-Sensor
Data Fusion"
 Designed a USB dongle and C++ library/driver that provides a cryptographically secure, true-random
number generator utilizing alpha-particle decay and transistor-gate leakage as the entropy source.
 Innovated a hardware design that increased video product capacity and throughput by 400%.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, Middle East & Asia (2009 – 2011)

Managed business development, customer relationships, engineering solutions, and all deployments in the
region. Engineered and built the software-to-control-system interface electronics for the AISight product in
accordance with life safety device guidelines. Offered counter-terrorism consulting for civilian complexes.
 Engineered and implemented an automated health-reporting system capable of producing executive-
level, loss-prevention level, and technician-level reports from new and existing deployed systems.
 Led the largest deployment of a video analytic system anywhere in the world; with the purchase and
maintenance contracts valued over $10 million.

SENIOR SYSTEMS ENGINEER (2008 – 2009)

Managed a global team of System Engineers for deployment and daily infrastructure operations. Conducted
installation, operation, and troubleshooting training for global customers and VARs. Created a bootable,
automated installation and hardening DVD for the AISight product; led global deployments of AISight under
normal, hostile-environment, and secure-facility conditions.
 Designed and built covert system and camera enclosures with power harvesting/generation, heat-
rejection, and burstable-data-relays for a US government agency.
 Engineered and executed a complete, in-place overhaul of the corporate data center including power
and cooling with less than 4 hours total downtime.

Quorum Business Solutions, Houston TX 2007 - 2008

MANAGER OF DEVELOPMENT
Led a group of 40 developers producing, customizing and patching a commercial software product for the Oil &
Gas industry. Direct contributor to a migration of the old C++ to a new C# framework.
 Designed and developed and automated work-flow reporting system that that significantly reduced the
issues backlog by identifying bottlenecks in the debugging process.
 Architected and implemented an automated dynamic prioritization reporting system on the existing
data which allowed us to rapidly identify and correct outstanding issues. Improved customer satisfaction
by over 15% and dropped the median age on outstanding requests from 1-year to less than 3-months.
