To check in each Certification:
-If the name of CDW(mentioned on the National ID card) correspond to those mentioned on the
certification
-If the company that issued the Certification is accredited (by the National/International Organism of
accreditation)
-If the validity of the Certification has not expired
* The badges must be legible (name of the resource, name of the company, signature of the manager of
the company)
* Safety helmet must be in good condition
* Glasses must protect eyes from sparks, high intensity lights, dust, wind
* Expiry date on the harness label should not be expired
* Evaluation of the physical conformity of the harness and its lanyards
* Checking the harness label (expiration date, first use date, ...)
* Gloves should be in good quality, with insulating properties the hands from the equipment
* View of protective footwear isolating the ground technician. Insulating property of passive and active
equipments that can conduct current (good quality, large area and volume of insulation)
Hoist rope and sling in their good physical condition (fluffy rope: acceptable defect, damaged rope end:
unacceptable, frayed rope: unacceptable defect, slight discoloration of the rope: acceptable defect, paint
trace: unacceptable defect, marking illegible: unacceptable defect, trace of chemicals / grease:
unacceptable defect).
