“MONET’S MASTERPIECES

ENHANCED”
“enhanced
culture”
For the opening of the major exhibition « Claude Monet, 1840-1926 » at the Grand Palais Museum in Paris, the French Association of National Museums
(RMN) and Artlys Publishing House, have become leaders in enhanced digital publishing by designing, for iPhone and iPad use, their first cultural
application belonging to the future collection of 100 titles.

Innovation
With a wealth of exclusive commentaries by the best experts, this first “enhanced” edition on Monet’s masterpieces offers all the interactive and user-
friendly tools of the latest technologies.
Rich in information, resources and links to related sites, this initial application draws on the wide array of multimedia functions offered by the iPhone and
the iPad. Fluid and intuitive navigation includes an incredible zoom function taking the viewer into the heart of the works shown in High Definition.

Renowned experts authored the commentaries in synchronized audio and text version.
Sylvie Patin, General Curator for the Orsay Museum and co-commissioner of the exhibition «  Claude Monet, 1840-1926  » to open in October at the
Grand Palais National Galleries, recounts the enthralling story of thirty Claude Monet paintings.

A collection, a vision
Available at the Apple appstore, this application is reviewed on cultural sites, blogs and social networks (Facebook/Twitter) for easy download. The aim: to
open the doors of the exhibition for access by a wide range of publics.
This first publication inaugurates a collection of cultural applications for iPhone and iPad launched by the RMN and Artlys Publishing House on
museums, Art and Heritage. Each title, available at the Apple Appstore, will be published in French and English. An ambitious endeavor, as eventually the
collection will bring over 100 titles to the exceptional catalog of works of Artlys Publishing House and the French Association of National Museums.

For all, everywhere !

Cultural applications, another way of visiting or discovering a museum, an artiste, an exhibition, at home,
in the subway, on the bus, even at the other end of the world !
