RISE WV CASE MANAGEMENT UPDATE
22 JUNE 2018

IDENTIFYING THOSE IN NEED

The West Virginia National Guard has identified a total of 451 outstanding RISE West Virginia cases, which is a decrease of
one, due to a duplicate record.

CASE MANAGEMENT REVIEW

Case management reviews increased exponentially with current case reviews at 324. New quality control and data
verification processes, which includes contractor project verification, have been implemented this week. The goal is to
ensure projects are verified and assigned to meet the needs of clients and to potentially cluster contractor assignments in
geographical areas using GIS data.

NEXT STEPS
The organizational goals continue to be focused on helping families with their housing and community needs with
deliberative speed and ensuring quality assurance and quality control procedures are in place for case management. We
will continue to streamline staff processes and work to establish clear pathways for other funding needs, economic
development and infrastructure.
