Our Leadership

At Orange Children & Parents Together, we believe that every child deserves the
opportunity to succeed and dream of a brighter tomorrow. We believe that strong families
lead to healthy and productive communities, and that with a little guidance and support,
every parent can become their child’s most important teacher and role model.
Your generous support of our mission enables vulnerable young children and their families
to regain a sense of magic, joy and wonder. Working together, we can restore each child’s
hopes and dreams for a bright, promising future!

On behalf of the children and families we serve, we thank you for your support.

Health & Nutrition

Health and nutrition are vital components of each child’s
educational success. Children in our programs receive early
intervention health screenings and participate in a daily
health program that includes dental care and nutritious meals
and snacks. We also provide parent education workshops on

Cavity-Free Campaign

Late in September 2009, OCPT launched the second annual

Cavity-Free Campaign. Aimed at promoting dental health, the
campaign once again was assisted by our favorite superhero,
Super Tooth. Within six months of the campaign, all 480
children enrolled in our program had visited the dentist,
received follow-up on treatment when necessary, and were
cavity-free!
Ready, Set, Read!

On May 21, 2010, the Orange Chamber of

Commerce, Leadership Orange, sponsored
a wonderful event that highlighted the work
of OCPT.  Along with community supporters
and sponsors, they made it possible for all 480
children to receive free backpacks filled with
school supplies and free t-shirts. We thank
them for their support!
