Introduction of

Execution File for Uninstalling Optional Software of eDMS

We would like to introduce an execution file that can uninstall optional software that
has been installed in an eDMS that is an optional unit for SSD-5500 (Ver.5). The name
of the file is “eDMS201.exe”.

Usefulness of the uninstalling disk:

Let us suppose that you installed some software options in an eDMS for
demonstration or exhibition purpose. When the eDMS used for demonstration or
exhibition is sold to a customer, the customer does not always buy all the software
options. With this execution file, you can easily uninstall the unnecessary
software options in the eDMS. If the customer would like to buy some software
options afterward, you can sell them and make a profit by installing the relevant
software options again.

As for supply of the optional software once uninstalled, please also contact our staff
in charge.

We would like to send the execution file at your request. The file can be sent by E-
mail or by post in a floppy disk. Before you start the uninstalling work, please read the
Word file titled “Initializing eDMS” which will be sent together with the execution file.

Additional information:
As mentioned in the newsletter No. 872-2, the following software options for eDMS are
available now:

Notes:
*1 When you install Contrast Echo analysis software SOP-5500-14, the SSD-
5500 main unit must be furnished with optional Contrast Harmonic Echo function
kit model CHM-5500 also.
*2 When you install TDI analysis software SOP-5500-20, the SSD-5500 main unit
must be furnished with optional TDI function kit model PM-5500-16 also.
(However, TDI and Flow Profile measurement kit PM-5500-18 is not a must.)

The others, namely, FAM, Stress Echo, and Flow profile analysis software
options operate without optional functions installed in the SSD-5500 main unit.
