Subject ： NEW INJECTION PUMP TO PERFORMANCE UP WITH ENGINE LOW SPEED

In operation under ENGINE LOW SPEED RANGE, engine may stall and or travel deviate due to lack of
engine output torque.

1. Countermeasure at factory production

Minor changed the injection pump for providing higher toque at engine low speed range. Besides,
developed new controller in order to match the new injection pump.

*2: NEW controller can be used for either new or old engine by switching controller version.

Caution: When using brand NEW controller for the machine with OLD injection pump, the engine may
stall and or travel deviation at engine low speed range. Be sure re-set version number when
install NEW controller to the machine with OLD engine per instruction next page.

If the combination of New injection pump and Old controller, they would perform well wi
thout
any performance change, and no need to change the version of the controller at all.

PROCEDURE Controller Version Switching;

Caution: When using brand NEW controller for the machine with OLD injection pump, the engine may
stall and or travel deviation at engine low speed range due to over torque. Be sure re-set
version number when install NEW controller to the machine with OLD engine per instruction
below.

If the combination of New injection pump and Old controller, it would perform well and no need
to change version of the controller accordingly.

Use Buzzer stop SW (page down) & Mode SW (page up) for display No.4 G-1 COIL A 1.5A

4. Retrieve re-setting display OFF
G-2 LIMIT
Depress “Wiper SW” 3 times while depressing “Mode SW”
Ensure the display surely opened and read Version No. oforiginal setting. NO.1
Original set: VER 0.01 for new injection pump Main Cont P/No.

Program Version
5. Switching version No. for the type of engine
VER"0.01"
Use “Buzzer stop SW” (set No. Down) or “Mode SW” (set No. up)
Original set: VER0.01 → new: VER 0.02 for old injection pump

6. Finish the adjustment

(5) Switching to 0.02
Depress “Screen change SW” to return to service diagnosis display.

7. Key off to complete this adjustment
