Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College of
Engineering, (SSNCE) is the outcome of the
vision and initiative of Padma Bhushan
Dr. Shiv Nadar, a pioneer in the field of Information
Technology. The Institution reflects the ideals of its
founder and seeks to achieve excellence as an
academic institution and advanced research centre.

Vijayakumar, Mr. N. Ranjit, Mr. P. Sivaprasad and

The Institution was established in 1996 on a
sprawling campus of 250 acres on the Rajiv Gandhi
Road (OMR) known as “Cyber Corridor” of
Chennai. The campus comprises of aesthetically
designed buildings that are networked by fiber optic
cables. The institution offers seven B.E. / B.Tech.
degree programmes in EEE, ECE, CSE, IT,
Chemical Engg, Biomedical Engg and
Mechanical Engg. It also offers five M.E. degree
programmes in Power Electronics & Drives,

Engineering, Applied Electronics, Computer &
Communication, in addition to MBA and MCA. The
