The Bathycorrometer MkIV (Bathy Mk5) is a diver held corrosion voltmeter and can
be used in a range of subsea corrosion monitoring applications. It is used to
measure the corrosion potential of immersed structures versus its own internal
silver/silver chloride electrode as well as determining the level of cathodic
protection afforded to a structure. It is designed to determine the corrosion status of
subsea structures.
